As a student chapter, we focus on improving choral music as an art at Winona State University. We sponsor the choral activities at WSU and arrange for guest artists to perform concerts on campus. The annual Messiah Sing-In is one of the many events the ACDA Student Chapter sponsors. We have also started the ACDA Laboratory Chorus to provide students an opportunity to practice conducting and rehearsal techniques and perform challenging a cappella works.
Students from all majors and minors are welcome to be a part of the ACDA Student Chapter. It is not necessary to be a future choral director to participate in the activities and find them enjoyable.
