History Day Information

2005-2006 Theme is: Taking a Stand In History: People, Ideas, Events

What is history day?  The event is similar to a Science Fair only in this case it involves history.  The History Association host's and coordinates in conjunction with the Minnesota State Historical Society the S.E. Regional History Day here at WSU.  Students come from all over Southeast Minnesota to have there projects that they have been working on for months in order to have a chance to advance to state and national competition.

Southeast Regional History Day will be held on April 3, 2006 starting with students setting up there projects between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.  The awards ceremony will start around 8:30 p.m. in Somsen Auditorium.  For mor information--see contact information below.
