Math/Stat club Minutes
Meeting was called to order at 9:02
Professors had to be quieted.

Spaghetti dinner 6-9 Friday feb. 22nd ( L- Morgan and I are sad bc we have to miss it.)

            You can bring your own “beverages” as long as they are not in glass containers

            Trav will be bringing his “jug of love”

            Killer ping pong, pool, fooseball, etc

Security came in and said something, Dason agreed but no one knows what he said, including Dason.

Blood drive… you should donate.  Feb 19th-21st.

Malone needs science fair judges and volunteers- Feb 29th.  There is a math/cs field, physics.  If you are interested let Malone know

Requirement: if you will judge for a department, you should have at least 3 classes in the area

            500 7th graders running around, but there are good snacks

Constitution needs to be updated.  By end of March.  If you would like to have a say in what changes, we will be updating it after the meeting next month. 

Morgan is so hungry. 

Spring Picnic: Thursday, April 17th, tentatively. We will check on the lodge reservation.  If it is booked already, we will schedule it for the 10th. 

Mayo Clinic visit- tentatively April 4th. There are no classes that day. Department should be able to pay for the van and the club will more than likely cover lunch.

Activity- Sarah wants to have a Gilde Lock-in.  Dason promises to bring Smath… it’s a math version of scrabble.  Not just for math/stat people.  March 28th. Errthum votes that we be locked in on Good Friday and released on Sunday… he thinks it would be symbolic or something… maybe we made a mistake convincing him to come here.  Sarah is the head of the committee.  Dason said he will give her a dollar because apparently she is the first person to volunteer to be the head of the committee. 

Bowling (9), skating (2).  We will go on a Monday February 25th for $1 bowling.  Tony has connections so he is going to see if he can get us a reservation. At Winona Bowl. At 9pm.
