Winona Improvisational Theatre

A good way to keep up to date is via Facebook WIT

If you like having spontaneous crazy fun, then W.I.T. is for you! Think Whose Line is It Anyway meets WSU. Each week the Players and any other interested parties meet and have some good, mostly clean fun. Usually at other people's expense, but always just in jest.

Improvisation is a form of theatre in which no script is used. Instead, the actors create the dialoge and action as they perform it. The most popular style today is "spot" improv, in which performers get suggestions from their audience and use them to create short, entertaining scenes.

No matter where or how it's performed, the essential ingredient in any improvisational performance is that the audience and the actors are working together to create theatre.

It is a great opportunity to let off some steam and have a good time. Everyone and anyone is welcome to participate or simply watch, suggest and laugh.

W.I.T. is usually held on Wednesday nights at 9:00pm in the lower level of Kryzsko.

Attend players meetings or check facebook to find out when the next session of W.I.T. will be held. You may also contact the W.I.T. coordinators.

W.I.T is held every Wednesdays from 9-10pm in the Smaug.
